My first repost: Why I still think homeschooling is a terrible terrible thing

I am Having to homeschool my 11 Year old Because The Private and Public School System In (Alabama) does not Teach Nothing!!! He Has To Spend 8 Hours a day Doing Nothing , So He Came To Me And Said He Wants to Be Homeschooled So That I Could Teach Him Something.Now Of Course We Have A lively life Style So He Will Never Be cut Off From Society.My Son Is Popular in school, He is extremely smart But So am I :-)But I Am Able to teach him advanced math and Spanish And Music And Art , Something the schools Here Do not Supply..I think Homeschooling is bad when you do it in a religious setting (my sister-in law does)Her Children Are Like the Children in The Corn , We Make Fun Of Them..Just A view Of Mine..:-)

I am mormon too. the girls that are homeschooled in my ward are exactly like that. I agree with you 100%.
